There're some other places that aren't mentioned above but I'll get to it later. also I've forgotten some places um so yea
Obviously I can't fit 2 weeks worth of photos here, so I'll just post whatever looked presentable.
On the plane. It was a night flight but I couldn't sleep anyway.
Odaiba(お台場)
Do I really need to explain what this is?
Shinjuku(新宿)
???
Library...somewhere...I really don't know where, but there's a lot of cool art reference books there.
Ghibli Museum(三鷹の森ジブリ美術館). No photography allowed inside but the temptation to break the rules is STRONG.
Takahatafudo temple (高幡不動尊)
Scenery is beautiful there, love the maple trees.
Harajuku(原宿)
Tokyo Tower(東京タワー)
Inside the main observatory.
View from the observatory. Tokyo's night lights are pretty neat.
Look down window where I saw a few older gents trying to man up and stand on it.
Tokyo Tower ver.2
Tokyo Disneyland(東京ディズニーランド). Unfortunately it was drizzling that day.
We were lucky enough to visit Nekomaru Cat Cafe(猫まるカフェ)when we went to Ueno.
CAAAAATTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSS------------------
Akibahara(秋葉原)
Mt. Takao(高尾山)
That white peak at the center is Mt. Fuji.
Shibuya(渋谷). The famous Hachiko statue is right outside the train station.
Mt. Fuji(富士山)...but not really. I think we're at the bottom of it. You're only allowed to go up till the lower half of Mt. Fuji during winter but we didn't have the time anyway.
Kaminarimon, Asakusa(雷門、浅草)
Pokemon Center at Ikebukuro(池袋)
Tokyo Skytree(東京スカイツリー)
Aaaannddd done.
Japan is an awesome place to visit and I definitely did not regret going there at all.
It's convenient to get to places via trains and subways and the people there are really nice and helpful.
If you have the chance, just GO and you'll have a good time there (that is, if you have some crazy friends along to hang out with).
Some art related stuff I bought there are: Deleter trial pen set, Kaimei ink and a water colour pen(?).
Really excited to use them in the near future.
Until then, Happy New Year~
